• Will I connect with auto attendant or will a live person answer the phone?

At SouthPark Pediatrics, we pride ourselves on the personalized professionalism provided by our front office staff. You should expect to speak directly to a live person when your call to our office is answered.

• For after-hours concerns, is there a nurse triage system, or does the patient speak directly with the doctor?

For urgent/emergent medical concerns after-hours, the doctor generally returns your call within 15-30 minutes. There is no nurse triage intermediary.

• What age range of patients do your pediatricians follow?

Birth to 18 years old.

• Are you currently accepting new patients?

Yes.

• At what hospitals do you have privileges?

We see newborns at Presbyterian Hospital-Downtown and Carolinas Medical Center-Main.

• Will I get a sick appointment the same day I call?

Yes.
